The stylistic inspiration for the Le Grand Jeu collection was the turn of the 19th and 20th century and its mystics, artists and writers led by George Ivanovich, Gurdjieff, René Daumal, Roger Gilbert Lecomte, Sarah Bernhardt and a book about Alfons Mucha's flower talk. Among the contemporary artists, Janja was influenced in the work mainly by Sophie Calle, Marina Abramović, Louise Bourgeois and the work of the writer Clarissa Pinkola Estés. The collection itself is based on the motifs of the Law of the Tree and Seven invented by the mystic George Gurdjieff, i.e. three flowers and a strongly stylized heptagon fox head. Sage signifies wisdom and immortality. It is the tallest plant of the shamans who by burning its leaves expel evil spirits and energetically cleans the body and space.
